How do we market your property?
More than half our bookings are generated from previous customers, their friends and their families. Our previous customers are our most valuable asset so most importantly we make sure we keep them happy. We recommend all of our owners offer a 10% discount to encourage re-bookings from customers who book a holiday in the same property within 18 months of their last holiday.
We have an excellent user-friendly website with a tried and tested 24/7 booking system that is secure and easy to use. Through the website we are also able to determine how people found us and which advertising sources are proving the most effective. With this knowledge we can make sure that we are targeting the right people in the right areas.
Our quality bespoke brochure pack, shows off our clients properties in the best possible light. We use a professional photographer who captures the best images of each individual property which are then tailor made into an individual brochure card for each property. This ensures our brochure pack is never out dated. Customers can order our brochure online or by telephoning our office directly.
We have a very thorough and diverse marketing campaign in place, and being constantly updated, it will ensure that bookings are maximised we are constantly ahead of the competition.
The vast majority of our customers who find us and book with us have come through Google. We employ a local company who understands the holiday letting’s market implicitly and knows exactly how to target the campaigns that they run for us in order to maximise our coverage on Google and in turn maximise our bookings for our property owners.
We rank highly on many first pages of Google, where customers are typing in specific search words and phrases for holidays in St Ives. Our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) campaign has ensured we have a great organic search success rate on Google. We also have a FaceBook advertising campaign which we run throughout the year ensuring maximum coverage for Cherished Cottages.
As part of Loving St Ives and the local Tourist Information, we feature on several affiliated websites with a high volume of internet traffic.
As well as using social media forums, we also advertise each of our properties on HomeAway’s International site.
We have a regularly updated newsletter that customers can subscribe to and we also offer incentives such as free weekend breaks to customers who sign up to our mailing list.
