Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, all bed linen, bath sheets, hand towels and bath mats are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
Do you provide tea towels?
Yes. We also provide an oven glove and tea towels.
Are all bills included?
Yes, including WI-FI where it is available, please see individual cottages for details.
We are staying for two weeks. Do we get a change of linen midway through our holiday?
Yes you do, we also offer a complimentary mid-stay clean to you.
What is in our welcome basket?
Cornish produce that may typically include juice, tea, coffee, jam & Biscuits.
What kitchen facilities are there?
Most cottages have a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave, please see individual cottages for details.
Do you accept pets?
Many of our properties accept pets all year round. However, we have a strict pet policy [View Policy] and make a charge of £45 per week or short break per dog.
Do you provide a cot and high chair?
Some do provide these, please check before hiring. There is a local equipment hire company which you can rent from for the ones that do not provide this equipment. Call Star Linen Hire on 01736 791685
Does the cottage provide parking?

Can we smoke in the cottage?
No, all our cottages are strictly non-smoking.
Do you provide hairdryers?
Yes, each bedroom has a hairdryer.
Does the cottage have a garden?
Most cottages in St Ives do not have gardens but please see individual cottages for details.
Where is the nearest supermarket?
A Marks and Spencer (which has a food department) is located at the Hayle roundabout on the A30 as you approach St Ives. There is a Tesco as you come into St Ives from Carbis Bay. You can also use Tesco’s delivery service, please see individual cottage details for relevant postcodes.
Please note: for a Tesco delivery please ensure it is booked to be delivered after 4pm when you are there to receive it.
Do you put up a Christmas tree for your guests?
Yes, a tree with lights and decorations will be in place for Christmas and New Year bookings.
Checking in to your cottage.
Check in is strictly 4pm please, our properties are meticulously cleaned and are only signed off at 4pm once inspected, ready for rental. Please respect the cleaning company – they need time to ensure that they can do their job thoroughly!
Do we need to check out by 9am?
Yes, it takes a long time to clean the cottage and we need the cottage and parking spaces back for 9am.
Do you take a damage deposit?
When you place a booking you agree to our terms and conditions. You authorise us to take up to £500 for any damage that occurs at the property during your stay. We do not charge for the odd broken glass or cup. However, charges will be made for any damage to the property or its contents, or if any additional cleaning costs are incurred. We ask you to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition.

When is the balance for my holiday due?
The balance is due two months before your holiday commencement date.
Do you email all correspondence?
Yes, but if you would like written confirmation please ask.
What if I need to cancel my holiday?
Please read our terms and conditions for our cancellation policy. We always recommend that you take out personal holiday cancellation insurance.
