Crab Rock is a stunning interior designed ‘Seaside Chic’, contemporary, top floor penthouse apartment affording sensational panoramic uninterrupted sea, beach and Harbour views, located on the Wharf, St Ives.
Crab Rock boasts incredible views from the kitchen, lounge/diner & master bedroom. It has three beautifully appointed bedrooms, one double bed and two zip and link king size beds. The icing on the cake being the outside balcony where you can gaze out and the ever changing Harbour views. This property does not provide any additional children’s safety equipment.

Introduction
Crab Rock (flat 4) is a Harbour front apartment with incredible views located on the forth floor.
We aim to meet the needs of all our guests, however, this apartment is unsuitable for wheelchair users as despite it being set on one floor, there are 8 small flights of stairs up to the property (totaling 38 stairs) . Guests with limited mobility are advised to continue reading the access statements, for more information call the Cherished office on 01736-490640.
The entrance to Crab Rock is located on the right hand side at the bottom of Fish Street, opposite the Sloop public house/car park, from which there is level access on the road to the shops, restaurants and beaches.
The apartment is set over one floor.
The front door leads into a hallway. Turn right to the third bedroom which can be set up as superking or twin. The family bathroom is on the left -hand side, and opposite this is the king size bedroom. At the end of the hallway is the open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, with magnificent harbour views. Off the living room is the master bedroom with a small shower room & separate WC with wash hand basin.
Pre-arrival
- Should you require a Tesco food delivery, or for a satellite navigation system, the postcode of ‘Flat 4, White Hart flats, The Wharf’ is TR26 1LP. Please note: for a delivery, you must ensure it is booked to be delivered after 4pm when you are there to receive it.
- Crab Rock is located just off the Harbour front, in Fish Street opposite the Sloop Inn. We recommend you unload your car outside the entrance to the apartment then drive the car into your reserved parking space in the secure garage (located under the Upper Deck).
- The nearest beach is outside the front door on the Harbour. Bamaluz, Porthgwidden and Porthmeor are located between 200 and 400 metres away.
- The nearest shop is around 20 metres away.
- The nearest large supermarket (Tesco) is located 2.3 mile away.
- The bus and train stations are located 0.5 miles away, plenty of taxis are available from both stations.
- The apartment has underfloor central heating; guests can control the timing of this.
- The duvets and pillows are manmade non-allergenic with quality bed linen and towels, please note some of the sofa and bed cushions have duck feather inners.
- All beds have mattress and pillow protectors.
- The cottage is strictly non-smoking.
- There are mains smoke detectors and a fire procedure in place.
Arrival and car parking facilities
- Keys are located in the key safe to the left of the front door at the apartment, full details and the safe code are provided prior to your holiday along with the key code for access to your parking space.
- The space is in a secure car park & measures 4.6m long – and 2.2m wide. There is a height restriction of 1.9m.
- Please be advised that arrival time is strictly 4pm onwards.
- You can unload outside the apartment before parking.
- On arrival there will be a welcome hamper including Cornish provisions, tea bags, milk and fresh flowers to get you started, however, we recommend that you shop at the superstores on your way into St Ives either Lidl (Hayle), M&S (Hayle), Asda (Hayle) or Tesco (Carbis Bay).

- There are 8 small flights of stairs up to the property (totaling 38 stairs) with hand rails.
- It is then level access inside.
- The property which is all set across one floor.
- The flooring throughout is hard wooden floors with rugs, bar the bathrooms which are tiled.
Crab Rock Apartment
- The front door leads into a hallway with the family bathroom on the left.
- The bathroom has a shower cubicle with both a rain shower head and hand held shower hose, there is one shallow step into the shower cubicle, sink, heated towel rail, WC and washing machine with built in tumble dryer.
- The hallway has a storage cupboard with brush, plus the electricity fuse box and the wifi router, and electric clothes airer.
- To the right of the front door is the third bedroom (superking/twin room). Two bedside tables, and lamps, and a built in wardrobe with storage and hanging space. There is a hair dryer for guests use in the cupboard.
- Opposite the main bathroom, you will find the second bedroom (king size bed), again with two bedside tables, and lamps, and a built in wardrobe with storage and hanging space. There is a hair dryer for guests use in the cupboard, and an iron and ironing board.
- The lounge/dining/kitchen area is located at the end of the hallway. It has a 3-seater sofa plus 1 single armchair. There is a dining table/bench seating 6 guests, wall mounted TV, bluetooth speaker and two freestanding lamps.
- The kitchen area has a 5 ring induction hob, set in an island with two breakfast bar stools (with extraction and lighting above). It has two ovens, full size fridge and freezer, a microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster and sink plus there is enough cutlery and crockery for 6 guests, and a Quooker tap. There is a fire extinguisher, first aid box and fire blanket located in this area, with a fully integrated smoke alarm system.
- The master bedroom suite is situated just off from the kitchen area with a zip and link superking/twin bed, again with two bedside tables, and lamps, and a built in wardrobe with storage and hanging space. This room has a wall mounted smart TV and there is a hair dryer for guests use in the cupboard. There is a WC with sink in a room just off this room, and a shower room with a shower cubicle with both a rain shower head and hand held shower hose, there is one shallow step into the shower cubicle, sink, heated towel rail.
Outside
- As with most properties in St Ives, Crab Rock does not have a garden, but it has a balcony with outdoor table and 4 chairs overlooking the Harbour.
Departure
- Check-out is strictly by 9am.
- On departure, one set of keys are to be left inside the property and the other set are to be returned to the key safe.
- Please leave the cottage clean and tidy; any unreasonable additional cleaning required may be charged for.
