Easter in Cornwall

As the winter storm clouds pass over and the sun starts to peek out to warm and lengthen our days, it’s a sure sign that spring is in the air and the Easter break is here in Cornwall. This Easter, there is plenty of egg-cellent fun for all the family. Read on for our guide on what’s on across our little patch of the world:

Easter Egg Hunts

Round up your brood and catch lots of nature-filled egg hunts across Cornwall, discover spring and top off your family fun with chocolatey treats.

Paradise Park (near St Ives) is hosting a Golden Egg Hunt at the tourist hotspot wildlife sanctuary between the 28th March to 19th April.

St Michaels Mount have a fun-filled activity schedule for all the family including an Easter Egg Trail, an Easter Bird Bonanza, rockpool exploring and storytelling sessions filled with tales of myths and legends at this tidal island.

The children’s adventure park near Newquay is open for animal feeding, Pat-A-Pet, Easter Crafts Egg Workshops and lots of Easter fun on the farm.

National Maritime Museum

Head to Falmouth and plunge into the dark depths of the ocean for the National Maritime Museum’s Monsters of the Deep. Explore myths and legends of krakens and creatures from the deep sea.

Porthleven Food Festival

The annual spring shindig in the beautiful harbour town of Porthleven returns from Friday 17th April- Sunday 19th April. The community led event always brings in the crowds of revellers keen to watch demos by well renowned local and international chefs, try yummy street foot at the food stalls and enjoy live music over 3 nights at the Shipyard Sessions.
