We believe our booking service is exceptional. Not only can our customers leave enquiries or brochure requests day and night, they can also ring our office to have their holiday requirements answered seven days a week from 8am until 9pm. If we are unable to take the call a message can be left on our answer service 7 days a week, 365 days a year where all phone calls will be returned as soon as possible. Most importantly, customers can log on to our Web site at www.cherishedcottages.co.uk to search for their ideal property, check availability and book securely on-line at any time of the day or night.
Property Maintenance/Call Outs
We feel property maintenance is essential both for owners maintaining their high standards and particularly for ‘peace of mind’ for your customers enjoying their holiday!
We are able to arrange and oversee these services including: Window cleaning, gardening, electrical work, plumbing & heating, safety equipment, carpet & upholstery cleaning, painting & decorating and small repairs and appliance replacement!
We use an extensive network of trusted tradesmen who we have acquired over the years and are renowned for their quality of work and reliability. Where this can be arranged by phone/email/texts it will not be chargeable, however if we are personally required to be present at the property to oversee, a small fee will be charged.
Routine & mandatory inspection services
There are some legal criteria which need to be fulfilled before you are able to let your property. These include gas safety; electrical PAT testing; fire risk assessment and furniture & fixtures safety compliance. We oversee these inspections on your behalf, although you are responsible for their implementation.
For a small fee we can arrange, accompany and implement recommendations from a Tourist board inspection. Your property needs to fulfil the criteria for at least a four star Visit Britain rating, although many have achieved a five star rating with gold award. We endeavour to work with you to attain the very highest awards you"re your property can achieve.
As part of our service we also manage all the laundry for your property at a competitive rate, this comprehensive service includes collection, laundering and delivering of laundry each week. In addition we also launder mattress & pillow protectors, quilts, cushion and sofa covers.
Special touches and attention to detail
As standard, all of our properties offer welcome hampers, bed linen, towels, guest toiletries, basic necessities including fresh flowers and milk.
We encourage our owners to consider adding additional touches like: complimentary WI-FI; SKY; ipod docking stations and games consoles. Although these extras are by no means mandatory, it ensures your property stands out from the crowd.
Monthly accounts and bill management
Accounts are sent out monthly showing income; commission paid and invoices paid on your behalf. In addition you are able to log in to our website to see your accounts and bookings online at any time of day or night with your unique owner login password.
