Food Glorious Food!

Being held on the beautiful Porthminster Beach next weekend – there will be cooking demos, food tasting sessions, pasty making classes for the kids, food foraging walks, lots to do and lots to enjoy for all the family.
St Ives is extremely lucky to boast an array of excellent restaurants and many of which will be busy at any time of the year –  even when the town seems to have no visitors! This we think is a reflection on the brilliant food and service provided all year round.
The Food Festival is now in its’ fourth year and is getting more and more popular each time. Last year the event was held on the West Pier and an estimated 8000 visitors attended. This year it is expected that there will be even more than that so it has been moved to Porthminster Beach where there will be more room and marquees, produce stalls and all sorts of people talking about their love of food.
And here in St Ives we are very lucky to have a range of local shops that sell all sorts of fresh food that we can use to try and create some of the meals that you could see at the festival.
Our local greengrocers which now also sells a range of fresh fish, the local butchers selling locally reared meat, and for some delicious cheeses, cooked meats and other goodies  try this place.
So ……………..are you all hungry now?
