Red Sails is a perfect cottage for a small family/2 couples.

The location is spot on; close to the harbour, Porthmeor and Porthwidden beaches and the main shops, bars and restaurants but quiet, on a pedestrianised street. The cottage was immaculate on arrival and very well equipped. We will definitely return. A 5* property.

Introduction

Red Sails is a beautiful former fisherman’s cottage located in the popular Downalong area

We aim to meet the needs of all of our guests; however the cottage is unsuitable for wheelchair users as there are narrow pathways down to the cottage and a narrow spiral staircase in the property. Guests with limited mobility are advised to continue reading the access statements for more information on each cottage, and call the Cherished office if you need any further details.

Red Sails is located on a pedestrian pathway which slopes down to the Harbour – around 30 metres with six steps.  From here, there is moderately level access to the shops, restaurants and beaches.

The open plan hallway, kitchen and dining areas are located on the ground floor.  A narrow spiral staircase takes you up to the first floor where there is an open plan lounge with family shower room off, and an additional snug room with second TV.  This room can also be used as a single bedroom.  Two further bedrooms, one king size with ensuite WC, and one double, are situated on the second floor.
